On 7-9 June 2023, training workshop “Introduction of Contact Persons System in Prisons” took place, where prison management officials and senior inspectors:
- analysed and discussed the introduction of contact persons’ system;
- learned different approaches to work both within a team and with prisoners.
The training workshop was led by Svetlana Trubacova, Head of Resocialisation Department, Latvian Prison Administration, and guest speakers from Romerike Prison in Norway – Samiur Rahman and Tony Andre Hermansen.
Training workshop was organized within the framework of the European Social Fund project “Raising the Efficiency of Resocialisation System” No.9.1.3.0/16/I/001 and the Norwegian Grants programme “Correctional Services”.
